[Video]: Manchester United 1 – 2 Swansea [Highlights]

Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the winner as Louis van Gaal’s reign as Manchester United manager began with a shock defeat by Swansea.
The Dutchman picked a surprising first United team, including youngsters Tyler Blackett and Jesse Lingard but the hosts looked nervous and Ki Sung-yeung gave the visitors the lead when he slotted home from the edge of the area with his left foot.
The home side went into the break one down and Van Gaal changed the system to 4-4-1-1 and was rewarded not long into the second half.
Wayne Rooney, the new United club captain, equalised with an acrobatic effort from two yards after Swansea failed to clear a corner.
Everything pointed to a home win but, 18 minutes from time, Sigurdsson slotted the ball past David de Gea after Wayne Routledge mis-hit a shot.
United had a late penalty appeal turned down in six minutes of added time.
