Did Amber Rose Call Angelina Jolie’s Daughter A Transgender?!?

Amber Rose took to her IG page to shower praises on the parenting style of Angelina & Brad Pitt. She called their 8- year-old daughter Shiloh Jolie Pitt a trans-kid.

I am not saying that there is something wrong with choosing one’s own sex but I think that it is not right to call a child a trans-kid just because she likes dressing like a guy. Just felt Amber should have waited until the child is old enough to announce her transitioning herself.

Suge Knight arrested after killing friend in Hit and Run

Notorious former music exec Suge Knight has been arrested after fatally running down a friend on the set of the movie, 'Straight Outta Compton' after getting into a fight with security. He reportedly then backed up over the men he hit as he fled the scene. Full report from TMZ below..
Multiple witnesses tell us a movie shoot -- involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre -- was going down when Suge pulled up in his car. We're told security told Suge to leave and that's when trouble began.
A fight broke out between Suge and 2 men. Suge got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse ... and ran over a man who suffered fatal injuries.
It's unclear at this point if the victim was connected to the movie. A source close to Cube tells us production had wrapped when the fight went down ... and he and Dre were not on set.
Sources connected with Suge tell TMZ ... the 2 men who fought Suge were the instigators. Our sources say Suge was scared because he's in frail health -- in addition to being shot 6 times last summer, he recently almost died from a blood clot.
The victim is Terry Carter, who we're told is a friend of Suge's who arrived with him at the scene. Our sources say Carter was in the process of walking to the passenger door of Suge's vehicle, but happened to be in the rear when Suge gunned it.
Two other men were also hit ... including Cle "Bone" Sloane -- who's appeared in "Training Day" and "End of Watch" -- and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both men are in the hospital.
Suge has been placed under arrest and is being held on $2 million bail.

50cent's ex-girlfriend accuses him of abuse after he mocks her on instagram

So here's what happened. A few days ago, MTO did a post on one of 50 Cent's former girlfriends, named Holly. When the rapper saw the post, he reposted it on his instagram labeling her community Puzzy. When Holly saw what 50cent put on instagram, she got into a nasty fight with him and made some shocking claims. She said 50 Cent physically assaulted. When some followers didn't believe her, Holly then posted messages between herself and 50 Cent where she threatened to release pictures of her battered body. See it after the cut...

Last year rapper 50 Cent was arrested for attacking his baby mama Daphne Joy so this is easy to believe!

If Jonathan loses, Nigeria will break - Tompolo insists

Former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) has restated the resolve of the Niger Delta warlords to make Nigeria ungovernable if President Jonathan fails to return as president in next month's general election.

In a statement released by his Media Adviser, Mr Paul Bebenimibo, in Warri yesterday January 29th, Tompolo attacked Gen Theophilus Danjuma for calling for his arrest alongside Asari Dokubo and other Niger delta warlords. He said the treaty that merged the Northern and Southern protectorate of Nigeria expired last year and everyone should be grateful to President Jonathan for keeping Nigeria together. Part of his statement after the cut...but meanwhile, the presidency has condemned this war threat from Tompolo and others..

"Gen. Danjuma and his cohorts should know that I remain resolute on my position in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, that President Goodluck Jonathan must win this election for Nigeria to continue to stay together. Gen. Danjuma should be reminded that the devilish treaty that brought the Southern and Northern Protectorates together in 1914 expired last year. Danjuma and his likes, such as Gen. Buhari, Gen. Obasanjo and Mr. Bola Tinubu, should be grateful to President Jonathan who has been keeping this country together. If not for President Jonathan, Nigeria would not have been any more.  Danjuma and his cohorts should be reminded of the saying that ‘those who live in glass house should not throw stones’. The call by Gen. T.Y Danjuma (rtd) to arrest me and other agitators for a better living for the people of the Niger Delta region is an indication that he is behind terrorism in the North eastern part of the country as well as the stoning of President Jonathan’s convoy in Kastina and Bauchi states, because he has never condemned those acts, even though Boko Haram attacked churches and mosques in his home town. Is Gen. Danjuma not aware of the peaceful atmosphere when Gen. Buhari visited Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa (home state of the President) states for campaign?  Why is it that President Jonathan’s convoy was attacked in Kastina and Bauchi states without any provocation? Who is Gen. Danjuma if not for the oil wealth he is enjoying from the Niger Delta? He should be rather arrested for being behind terrorism in the North. Where was Danjuma when Mallam Ciroma Adamu threatened to make Nigeria ungovernable, if President Jonathan defeated the All Progressive Congress Presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammedu Buhari?  Where was this so called statesman when the APC campaign Director General (DG), Mr. Rotimi Ameachi threatened to form a parallel government if President Jonathan wins the 2015 elections?  Where was this hypocrite when Dr. Junaid Muhammed, Muhammedu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar all said in separate interviews that the nation will boil if Jonathan won the election in 2011? Is it the interest of Nigeria Gen. Danjuma is protecting or his oil bloc in the Niger Delta?  Is it the interest of Nigeria Danjuma is protecting or his 50 million dollars donation to Gen. Buhari for his campaign? Let Gen. Danjuma and his cohorts know that they will not see any Ijaw man, the Igbos and others to fight on their side if the war that they are planning broke up,”.

In a related development, the Ijaw Youths Council (IYC), also released a statement signed by its spokesman, Eric Omare yesterday January 29th where they faulted the call by Gen Danjuma to arrest the Niger Delta ex-militants.

"We are surprised that General Danjuma swiftly called for the arrest of Tompolo, Asari and other Niger-Deltans, whereas he has neither condemned nor called for the arrest of those who have been consistently attacking the convoy of President Jonathan in the northern part of the country. General Danjuma’s call is not deserving of an elder statesman who is supposed to be unbiased rather than his obvious bias against the Niger-Delta people. Only yesterday, in Gombe State a supporter of President Jonathan who was pasting his posters was attacked and seriously brutalised. Why has General Danjuma not condemned this dastardly act if he is really an elder statement? There was no time at the meeting the Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Seriake Dickson, with youth leaders and ex-Niger Delta freedom fighters where it was resolved that Niger Delta people would destabilise Nigeria, if President Jonathan fails the February 14, 2015 presidential election. This did not form part of the resolutions of the meeting, which were read out by Hon. Kingsley Kuku for Governor Dickson to transmit to Mr. President. The meeting was called by the Governor of Bayelsa State, to solicit support for President Jonathan from Niger-Delta youths and ex-freedom fighters. However, the meeting frowned at and  its dissatisfaction with the persistent attack on the campaign convoy of President Jonathan in some northern states when General Buhari, his main opponent, was protected and campaigned freely in the south during his campaign tour. Hence, the meeting condemned in the strongest terms the attack on President Jonathan and resolved that nobody can intimidate President Jonathan out of the presidential race. At the meeting, all the youth leaders and ex-Niger Delta freedom fighters resolved to put their grievances aside and agree to work for the re-election of President Jonathan. Therefore, the report on ex-militants threatening to destabilise Nigeria in the event of President Jonathan losing the 2015 election is not part of the resolution of the meeting. The meeting could not have discussed that as we are confident that President Jonathan would win the February 14, 2015 presidential election. We, therefore, call on Nigerians and the security agencies to disregard the call for arrest of Tompolo, Asari and others, which is based on a misleading report. The accusation levelled against President Jonathan by the APC is also unfounded,” the statement said.

'What turns me on in a man' – Popular Nollywood star Reveals

Fast-rising Nollywood star, Vivica Ijeoma Anuforo, may not be as famous as Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, but she has attracted thousands of fans for her outstanding roles in over 15 Nollywood movies, including Turning Point, Broken Silence and The Bride is Mine, among others. In this interview with TheNation, the Political Science graduate of the University of Lagos, Akoka, who also trained as an actor at the Royal Art Academy, Lagos, opened up on her journey into the make-believe world, among other interesting issues.

HOW long have you been acting and how many movies do you have to your credit?

I’ve been acting for the past three years. Acting is something I decided to ‘chase’ because of how much I realised I wanted it and how much fulfillment I could derive from it. Initially, my dad wasn’t really excited about it. But he now supports me and knows I have a good head on my shoulders. I’ve always been fascinated by the movies I grew up watching. The truth is that, all I’m concerned about is being an actor. I have featured in Turning Point directed by Niyi Towolawi, Broken Silence directed by Desmond Elliot, The Bride is Mine directed by Ugezu J. Ugezu and 11am directed by Alex Mouth, among others.

The industry is highly competitive, so how do you intend to hit the A-list category?

Well, healthy competition is good for the growth of any industry. But where I am and what I am aiming at is making good movies that people can enjoy. Right now, I’m really focused on my craft and how to get better at it. This is because I believe that being in the A-list category is an incentive that one earns for being the best at what one does.

Are there actors you admire?

I love Liz Benson and wish she would come back fully to Nollywood. I think our screens miss her. It will be a dream come true to work with her-she is so eloquent and classy. I also have a lot of respect for Genevieve Nnaji because when she broke out, actresses who aren’t light-skinned were not really favoured in terms of getting roles. Mama Purity (Mercy Johnson) is great-her depth as an actor is undeniable. I also like RMD, not only because he is a fine man with dimples to die for, but because he is such a fantastic actor. I learn a lot from these actors.

So, you actually have a crush on RMD?

I think I like his person.

Where does your inspiration come?

I draw inspiration from different things, especially success stories of famous people, movies, books, God and family etc. But I would say my greatest inspiration has been my friend and stylist, Precious Adewale. Sometimes, I feel like she believes in the success of my career more than I do. Even when I feel I’m meeting road blocks, she tells me: “Failure is not on the table talk less of it being an option.” I love her.

So, what has been your unique selling point over the years?

I’d say my unique selling point is my entire body. In acting school, we were taught that the only tool the actor has is his or her entire body.

Do you have a limit when it comes to accepting roles?

I can go very far in interpreting any role and can do all that without going nude. On the other hand, I wouldn’t want to play a role that doesn’t project my interest and principles as an actor.

So, what are these principles?

My philosophy of life would be “never look down on anyone.” I think I learnt that from my father. He hates to see anyone being maltreated because of what they have or do not have-he can relate to anyone, no matter his or her status. He made me understand that all men are born equal.

Do you really see a future in Nollywood?

Of course, I do! I do see a big future in Nollywood; otherwise, what am I doing there? We’ve seen lots of Hollywood actors reaching out just to have some sort of affiliation with us. That goes to show, without a doubt, that we are doing something right.

So, what do you think is the way forward?

I think the way forward is for us to continue to make great movies that can meet international standards. So far, we aren’t doing badly. It would also be nice to give the budding actors a real chance because there are talents amongst us- all we are looking for is a real chance to show what we can do. That’s why I’ll always be thankful to Aunty Emem Isong and her sister, aunty Uduak, for the opportunities they’ve given me as an up and coming actress.

Aside acting, what else do you do?

Besides acting, I sell accessories, including shoes, bags, shirts and palm oil.

What is it that lots of people don’t know about you?

People probably don’t know that I’m ‘clusterphobic’. I hate to stay in an enclosed space. And I love Amala a lot (laughs). Again, when I’m stuck in traffic, I like to eat Gala and ice cream.

What has life taught you over the years?

Life has taught me that the only one worth putting your trust in is God. Besides, it has taught me that not everyone who helps you should be called a friend.

Any regret so far?

I think everything in my past has set me up to be the woman that I am today. So, I really don’t think I would want to change anything that has happened to me in the past.

Tell us about the man in your life?

At the moment, there is no man in my life. I’m single and searching for a break out role (laughs).

Why still single, considering how beautiful you are?

Maybe I have not seen the right man.

So, who is your ideal man?

What attracts me to a man are his confidence and eloquence. I think a man who speaks well can turn me on. Then, he should have respect for himself and respect for women.

If you weren’t an actress, what else would you have been doing?

I’m very athletic; if I weren’t an actor, I would have been an athlete, running for Nigeria. I try every now and then (when I’m not on set) to go to the gym to work out. I also play volleyball and love watching football.

Apart from RMD, who again do you have a crush on?

If I were a lesbian, I would have loved to marry Scarlet Johansson. I also used to have a huge crush on Milan Bros. But now, it’s Mikel( Obi). But talking about my favourite actors, I think I love Ed Norton, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock and Natalie Portman.

It’s believed that most up and coming actresses trade their bodies for movie roles; what has been your response to ‘s*x-for-role-directors’?

Firstly, one has to know what one wants in the industry. Then, how you present yourself also matters a lot and determines how you will be addressed. If you present yourself as a desperate young lady, who is ready to do anything and go to any length to get what she wants, then, you will fall into the trap and category of s*x-for-roles actresses. Being a star is a gradual process, but that’s what most people don’t know. To be in the limelight is not a matter of days, but years of hard work. I’m not desperate; my good job will speak for me. I will wait for my time, so I say no to s*x-for-roles!

Are you saying no producer has ever harassed you s*xually?

No! Not at all! I’ve never been harassed. I guess it’s because of the way I carry myself. I know there are some men in the industry that can’t get their eyes off me, but I don’t give them the chance to go that far.  Most of them don’t even have the confidence to tell me they want to sleep with me. So, it’s all about how you carry yourself!  Once you do it once, it will circulate. Whoever you did it with will tell others and before you know it, everybody will want to sleep with you. And you will be giving in so as to get more roles; and if you don’t, that is where your problem may start from. That is how these things work. It’s better not to start it at all. I believe in letting my work speak for me. On the other hand, there are lots of responsible producers and directors who believe in merit.

As an actress, are you not scared that most famous actresses either don’t get married in time or their marriages don’t last?

I’m not scared because I’m a family-oriented person. On the other hand, it’s not just in Nollywood that we have broken marriages; it is everywhere. I believe in growing old with whoever I’m going to get married to and he has to be my best friend, so that whenever anything goes wrong, we’ll fix it rather than throwing away what we share.

YOU BELONG TO THE ANALOGUE ERA AND THIS IS DIGITAL ERA - A NIGERIAN YOUTH WROTE THIS LETTER TO BUHARI

Sir, let us examine your service records. I consider your generation a very privileged one, indeed. In 1975 at the age of 33, you were appointed the Militar Governor of the North-Eastern State, present day Borno & Yobe states. In 1976 at the age of 34 you became the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources. In 1978 at the age of 36 you became the Chairman of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Today the reverse is the case. Most Nigerians at age of 35 are still unemployed and still living with parents. Many are still not married. During your time you were already Governor at this age. One major reason for this unfortunate turn of events is that many elders like you have refused to voluntarily handover the baton to the next generation. Life should be a relay race where one runs his race and hands over to the next. In Nigeria many elders like you have run their races and are still holding on tenaciously to the baton. But Sir, I have an important question here
for you.

The question is simple, MUST YOU SERVE NIGERIA AS A PRESIDENT ONLY? IS THERE NO OTHER CAPACITY YOU CAN SERVE US EXCEPT THE PRESIDENCY?
It is very erroneous to imagine that you can only serve Nigeria only in one capacity. During the regime of late General Sani Abacha, you accepted the appointment to serve as the Chairman of the then Petroleum Trust Fund PTF. The general opinion was that you served faithfully in this capacity. Well done Sir! But you never asked Abacha to vacate office for you as your former subordinate in
the army. Never! In fact that would have been a dangerous move, if not suicidal. Rather you served faithfully under your former junior in the army. Sir, imagine if you take on another job like the Chairman of EFCC or ICPC or NDLEA.Nigerians actually need you to serve in one of these
capacities much more than they need you in the Presidency. Mere mentioning your name as Chairman of EFCC would drive many corrupt men underground. But you wouldn’t . Either the
Presidency or nothing. When are you going to handover to the next person? It is either you do it voluntarily or risk disgrace at the polls. In 1983 at the age of 41, you became the Head of State. Most Nigerians in my age have not had the opportunity to serve, but we still remain committed to the Nigerian project. You should rather be graceful to God and to Nigerians for the numerous opportunities that have come your way to serve Nigerians. Others are begging for just one opportunity to serve. Sir, you have to accept the stark reality on ground that you have served your
time already. That is life for you. You run the race, you handover the baton for others to run, you
cannot hold on to the baton more than is necessary. As a former head of State you are already a member of the Council of State Meeting. You have every avenue to channel your views across. You don’t necessarily have to be in a front-line role, you can serve in an advisory capacity. That is still service. In conclusion, It is crystal clear that you cannot defeat President Jonathan in a free, fair and credible election, even in Katsina State. Sentiments aside, Jonathan would cruise to a landslide
victory come February 14th, 2015. In fairness to you Sir, any of your Children would pose a serious challenge to Jonathan more than yourself. I do not see Nigerians electing a 72 year old former Head of state to lead us in this Digital era. With due respect to you Sir, you belong to the Analogue age and
therefore, will not fit in as president in this digital era. This is the blunt truth. Please do not enter
the Guinness book of world records on a negative note. Losing four consecutive Presidential election would not augur well for your reputation. It is in your best interest to assume your position as an elder statesman and allow others to serve. Nigeria does not belong to you alone. It belongs to us all. copy and post on your wall let it go round, is time we youth tell our self the truth.
