If Beyonce had tried to defend her husband when her sister attacked him in that elevator, I don't think she would be constantly defending her marriage now. Yesterday rumors spread that Beyonce was divorcing Jay Z after she was allegedly spotted apartment hunting without him.

As the rumors spread yesterday Beyonce calmly posted a picture on Instagram of Jay Z and Blue Ivy captioning the photo, "My favorite hue is Jay Z Blue,', in an effort to rubbish the reports.

Now the newlyweds have even been spending more time at their New York apartment, just two blocks away from Jay and Beyonce’s home there, in a bid to get North to Bond with Blue Ivy. However, the insider says the superstars are fed up with being associated with the Kardashian brand.

A bus conductor was alleged shot twice at close range by soldiers at the Oba Akran area of Ikeja Lagos this afternoon. The person who took the pic above and posted it online, wrote;

"Soldiers just shot a conductor beside me!! Jesus!! Two shots!! At Oba Akran. Jesus!! At close range fa!!"

Abducted Chibok Girls Allegedly Raped on Camera

81 days have psssed since over 200 schoolgirls were abducted in Chibok, Borno, by men believed to be members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect. Senator Khalifa Ahmed Zanna of Borno Central has revealed that the girls are being ra.ped while someone films them. He said the information he got are very disturbing. “Although I don’t want to mention but they are just raping the girls on camera and even showing them on video, releasing it to the public.



“Somebody told me that they were shown being rap.ed, and in turn, it is the girl who was rap.ed that came out kneeling down and begging the man to be patient. Do you know the reason why? They said when they ra.pe them they shoot them.

Therefore the girl after being ra.ped, she curled down to the man, kneeling down and begging him to please be patient. So disturbing.

And although I didn’t see the video, the person narrated to me, he said he had the video, and he was narrating to me, and look at the situation. And then the other scenario is that the Boko Haram are now out of funds, they are not getting enough food.

So they are going from one village to another, taking the little the villagers had, and going away. In fact most of the villages are almost moved out of their villages and moved to cities or gone into the neighbouring countries. So more or less they don’t have any chance of getting food. So I don’t know what they’re going to do, if food is not available are they going to sacrifice to give it to the girls.

And then, the other information I have, because you know the kidnap is a continuous process which they have been doing before the 200 and after the 200. So in their position, there are up to 500 or over 500 women who are being taken from the streets, on the main roads where they are traveling, or they go to the villages and collect them; all kinds of abductions,” he said. 

Radio station intern claims French Montana tried to 'date rape' her

A college student and radio station intern named Mariela Sanchez (pictured right) is claiming that Khloe Kardashian's boo, French Montana, attempted to 'date rape' her when she tried to interview him a while back...

Mariela Sanchez just wanted to interview French Montana for her YouTube channel. But the hard partying rapper - who's been dating Khloe Kardashian since February - had something else in mind when he invited the brunette onto his tour bus . . .

Police building collapses in Lagos

A 2-storey building which served at the toilet, bathroom and kitchen extension of a residential house inside the Pedro Police Barracks, Somolu Lagos on Monday June 30th collapsed around 8pm. Fortunately there was no casualty. 

 

The building, said to be in a very weak and dilapidated state caved in when most of the residents were reported to have been in their living rooms.

Yesterday July 1st, officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, were at the scene of the incident to evacuate the occupants of the building while police officers from the Pedro police station, cordoned off the area. (Pic credit: Punch)

Bomb blast in Kaduna this evening

According to a breaking news report on Sahara Reporters, there was a bomb blast this evening at the Asikolaye/Bakin Ruwa area along the Kaduna western bypass of Kaduna state. Details of the incident are still sketchy but will bring an update later...

Stephen Keshi and Joseph Yobo quit Super Eagles

Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi and the team captain Joseph Yobo have both quit the team after failing to qualify to the quarter-final stage of the 2014 World Cup, Vanguardreports.

Speaking this evening after the Eagles' loss to France in the round of 16, Keshi said it was time to move on.

"I have to go back to my family and face fresh challenges,” Keshi said.

Eagles Captain, Yobo Joseph also said he's had enough and can go no further as national team player. “I think I should give the younger ones the opportunity to forge ahead. I have nothing new to offer.”

Bomb blast in Maiduguri market this morning

A bomb exploded at a busy market in Maiduguri, Borno state, this morning July1st. Eye-witnesses said the bomb went off around 8am this morning at the busy market near a Power Holding building.

The number of casualty is expected to be high because of how crowded the area is.

A Borno state govt official confirmed the blast to Sahara Reporters, saying the causality number is very high but stated that security agencies are working to secure the area and rescue victims.
